English

Spring always marks the time for commencement. Some of you are to set out for a new school life or job. It is always invigorating to take on new challenges, isn’t it? In your endeavor with English, try to refresh your enthusiasm and the excitement you once had when you were a novice learner. If you should find yourself in a deadlock in your language study, now is the best time to reconfirm your motive in pursuing your English skills and refresh your mundane routine by setting up a clear goal and evaluate what it takes to reach that goal. Once you lay out what needs to be done, commit yourself to it by incorporating it into your daily routine. Don’t just think about it. Do it!

Just Do It!Learning a foreign language involves a substantial amount of time for any learner, which gives you all the better reason to stick to it even when you cannot monitor any improvement in your English. Unfortunately, some people just give up on the language study altogether before they even give it a fair try. Do not rush to the conclusion that your efforts will not be rewarded with a successful result, but believe that whatever efforts you put into it will surely bear fruit in due course. There are no futile efforts involved in the process of learning a language. Remember: practice, persistence, and perseverance. Practice English through speaking, reading, writing and listening in a persistent manner, and persevere in the time required to make you a better communicator in English. Instead of mourning over the slow progress in your study, just move on with it and enjoy the process of learning.

The hectic pace of modern life is more than likely to present you with the hurdle of finding time at your disposal and may eventually defeat your spirit for studying English. But time is something you could make despite a busy schedule. Studying does not always have to take place at your desk, but anywhere and anytime you have access to English. You can listen to English in your car to and from work, or you can set aside 30 minutes of your day by reducing TV-viewing time each day. You just have to be creative in coming up with a method of learning English that suits you the best. Let’s keep up the good work.
