鶴山公園で開かれた「ご当地グルメフェスティバル」に行った私（Kazuko）は、あまりの人だかりに圧倒されて結局お目当ての食べ物を買えずに帰ってきました。

Yeah, took a stroll up there for a while, but bailed out before I got my teeth into anything.

It was numbingly cold in the blasting wind and at least a two-hour wait for the most popular dish.
風が強い中で、とても寒かったのよ。 それに人気の料理は最低2時間待ちなのよ。
Nick:
What was the must-eat dish of the moment?

Kazuko:
Hiruzen Chow Mein had the crowds hanging on even though it was soon to be sold out.
「蒜山焼きそば」は、すぐに売り切れるのに、人だかりがずっと待ってたわよ。
Nick:
What? Were they waiting for a loaves and fishes rerun? You’ll never catch me waiting in the cold for something I can buy in a local supermarket.
へえ？ 何かすごいものでも期待してたのかな？ 寒さの中、この辺のスーパーで買えるものために 待つなんてぼくのならできないね。
Kazuko:
Amen to that. I think I’ve learned my lesson.
